This place suits me perfectly with excellent amenities like wi-fi, a lovely coffee shop, and helpful 24-hour reception. The staff were very accommodating when assisting my elderly parents during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel and I'm coming back for Christmas!

Great place for quick trips!

I had a solid experience,, especially with the cleanliness of the room and how cozy the bed was. Plus, the complimentary coffee in the morning was a game-changer for my late morning routine. it was exactly what I needed to kickstart my day.

It wasn’t overpriced, but certainly didn’t feel cheap either.

The room was super comfy with a mini fridge and microwave that made snacking so easy! I loved the thoughtful little touches like real dishes and silverware for a homey vibe. Plus, it was conveniently located next to a fantastic grocery store, making it perfect for impromptu picnics!

The spacious Queen Room featured modern amenities, including a large shower and a comfortable bed. However, breakfast wasn't complimentary, and the entrance could be confusing as it resembles a small café. The parking was conveniently accessible but included a fee.

Had a nice time here! The room was comfy with a lovely balcony and all the essentials. The bistro on the first floor had free coffee every morning, which was awesome. Also, being so close to the Cheeseboard was a major win! Just a bummer that the place could use some refreshing as it's a bit dated.

i had a great stay at sens hotel & vanne bistro. the location in north berkeley is perfect, close to lots of cool restaurants and cafes. my queen room was comfy and had everything we needed. the staff was super helpful, especially when we needed assistance during our stay.

Great coffee shop downstairs, but Wi-Fi was unreliable during my stay.

Cleaning standards fall short. the floors felt sticky and the rug had visible dirt. Leftover food bits on the floor were a concern. Noise levels are another issue. the walls feel paper thin, allowing every whisper from neighboring rooms to breach privacy. The room’s climate control left something to be desired—simply cranking the heater didn’t guarantee comfort, which is frustrating for a traveler. Additionally, the entry point through a busy café creates an odd first impression, and the lack of dedicated parking, despite being advertised, can be a hassle for anyone driving.
